Stinky Toys has been played on NTS shows including Yesterday's News, with Birthday Party first played on 11 October 2017.

Stinky Toys were a punk/new wave band formed in Paris, France in 1976. They are notable for their influence on the history of punk music, having directly inspired Malcolm McLaren. In the autumn of 1976 the band took part in the 100 Club Punk Special in London which showcased eight punk bands, most of which were unsigned. After two albums and little success, Stinky Toys sadly split in 1979, but singer Elli Medeiros and guitarist Jacno went on to form the electro-pop act Elli et Jacno which had considerable success in France.
