Style Scott has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 19 episodes and was first played on 8 April 2015.

Style Scott (real name: Lincoln Valentine Scott; born 29 April 1956; died 9 October 2014) was a reggae drummer and record producer. He was a founding member of the legendary Roots Radics and Dub Syndicate, and a member of Creation Rebel.

The Roots Radics are an all star house band that has backed some of reggae's most prominent artists. Recording with producers like Scientist, King Tubby, and Junjo Lawes, the Roots Radics provided the majority of rhythm tracks and melodies for the then burgeoning genre of Dancehall reggae.

In the early 1980s he founded Dub Syndicate. Most of the band’s output has appeared on On-U Sound Records, and has been produced by the label’s owner Adrian Sherwood. Recently Dub Syndicate content has been released on Style Scott’s own Lion & Roots record label

On 9 October 2014 was found dead, apparently murdered, aged 58, at his home in Jamaica.
