Dissolve is the name of the collaboration between Roy Montgomery and Chris Heaphy from Christchurch, New Zealand, active during the mid-1990s. They recorded several albums for Kranky Records: "That That Is…Is Not" and "Third Album For The Sun" (featuring Arnie Van Bussel, John Chrisstoffels, and vocals from Kaye Woodward of The Bats) under the Dissolve name, and then "True" as Roy Montgomery and Chris Heaphy.
