1.) Digital Sex were an ambient pop band formed in 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska, with a nucleus of Stephen Sheehan (vocals), Dereck Higgins (bass) and John Tingle (guitar). They self-released the LP Essence in 1984, which was later reissued on CD (with different bonus tracks each time) in 1986 on Sordid Sentimental as Essence & Charm, and again in 1994 on Randy's Alternative Music as Essence & Rarities: 1982-1987.
