Eddie Robinson

Eddie Robinson

Eddie Robinson has been played on NTS shows including House Call, with Hey Blackman (Part 1) first played on 13 August 2017.

"Eddie Robinson GM" of Detroit (Motown), not to be confused with other artists having similar names, is a prolific songwriter, singer, dedicated musician, arranger and record producer who played a number of recording sessions with such legendary musicians as Motown’s Funk Brothers and The David Letterman Band in New York, with Paul Schaefer. During several years in California, at Universal- MCA as an exclusive songwriter, producer & arranger, Ed scored #1 hit recordings (gold & platinum albums) for a number of artists. Most recently, Eddie composed recordings for Beyonce and Destiny’s Child, “Girl,” television hit show, “So You Think You Can Dance,” Simon Cowell’s hit television show, “The X-Factor UK" and the recent New York smash dance Hit, “Can’t Stop Dancing” recorded by Sonny J. (to see video, search "Can't Stop Dancing X Factor") The current single release by Eddie Robinson GM, titled “Bring the Love Back Home,” marks his return to the US musical scene, following nearly two decades of performances in Europe, Scandinavia, Africa and the Far East. Eddie's music reflects a combination of Pop, Funky Soul, flavored by shades of country Blues and Gospel rhythms. Similar to recorded performances by Elvis Presley and Marvin Gaye, Eddie’s new music carries the theme universal of love. The new single, “Bring the Love Back Home,” is currently featured on KISS FM and other national radio stations across the USA. The song is a special dedication to people with love ones away from home. This includes love-ones who may be away in military service, hospitalized, incarcerated, in school or at work. Either way, the message of the song is clear. The power of love is greater than distance or time. Another important message within this song is a reminder that the same distance that causes separation can also make love to grow stronger. Hope is the element which makes impossible dreams become possible!
