Space Opera has been played on NTS shows including DEBONAIR, with Mandate My Ass (New Beat Mix) first played on 20 July 2017.

A short-lived collaboration between CJ Bolland and Cisco Ferreira that resulted in early material released on the influential Belgian label R&S, Space Opera was soon eclipsed by Bolland's solo material (some of which still included the contributions of Ferreira) and Ferreira's future work as the Advent with Colin McBean.
