A.J Brown is a singer extraordinaire, young, energetic and good, a child philanthropist, musical genius, trained virtuoso, balladeer, painter and graduate of the university of Nevada Las Vegas. He ranks among many of Jamaica's Greatest Singers. AJ, as he is now affectionately called, is taking his illustrious career to the phenomenon heights it deserves. He is the vocally articulate President of the board whose dynamic career spans influences from Bob Marley, Shaka Khan, Frank Sinatra and Dennis Brown to steve Wonder Andrea Bocelli.
It was in 1978 that his musical journey began when in 1980 he won a German talent competition and went on his first tour of Germany to cities like Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. In the 1980's, AJ was invited by the Jamaica Tourist Board to help promote Jamaica on tours of Europe, Canada, and the United States. In 2006, he was again invited by the JTB to help promote Jamaica at the 35th IFEST festival in Houston Texas. Then there are the recording projects with Beres Hammond the Chairman of the Board, Bobby Digital and Barry O'hare, Grammy award winning producers and others like Mickey Bennett, Tony Greene and Winston Riley. AJ has dished out his musical servings at many major international events singing the tough U.S. national anthem at the Razor Ruddock, Gregg Paige heavyweight title fight at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Showtime Boxing Network hosted the event as A.J. kept the boxing fans spellbound hitting the highest notes with professional ease. He has also done numerous commercials for conglomerates like Coca Cola, Red Stripe Beer, JTB and Air Jamaica. Mr. Brown's talent and creativity has featured in movie sound tracks, such as Club Paradise, starring, Jimmy Cliff, Robin Williams and Peter O'Toole, the Fourth Protocol starring Pierce Brosnon and the Howling "part 3". AJ rose from humble beginnings in tropical Jamaica to the glitz and glamour of the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on the invitation of the CEO, Steve A. Wynn. Mr. Brown performed at the Mirage from 1989 - 1996 and while in Vegas he attended the UNLV as a full time art student, graduating in 1993 with a B.A Degree in Art. He ruled the roost for seven years singing music in every genre, he is very versatile with a wide vocal range. AJ left his mark in Las Vegas like Harry Belafonte, Frank Sintra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Wayne Newton. Nominated the best male Cabaret artist in 1989, 1999, 2000 and 2001 A.J. secured many awards and acclamations and is now regarded as a national treasure. In 2003, AJ flexed his musical muscles as a celebrity judge on the hit Reality TV series RISING STARS, the number one family show in Jamaica. He was honored in 2004 by his Alma Mata, Cornwall College, shared the stage with Dionne Warwick in 2005, headlined at the 'Professionals in Cabaret show in Feb 2006 and performed at the "Take Me Away" show hosted by Ritchie Stevens along side Maxi Priest, Wayne Wonder, Freddie McGregor, John Holt, Ernie Ranglin and others.
