The Brats has been played on NTS in shows including Crossed Wires w/ Amanda Siegel, featured first on 26 May 2017. Songs played include Be A Man, Heavy Rocker and Quaalude Queen.

The Brats were a 70s proto-punk/glam band from New York. After having left the New York Dolls in 1972, Rick Rivets formed The Brats with Keith West (vocals), David Leeds (bass, vocals) & Ken "Sparky" Donovan (drums). Rick Rivets left the Brats in 1977 and formed the Corpse Grinders.

The Brats existed for about ten minutes or so… maybe a little longer. Long enough to record one awesome EP for Zhengaya records then vanish into obscurity. Fronted by the always entertaining Florian Pühs, formerly of Surf Nazis Must Die & Adolf Hitler Klan, currently of HERPES.
