Sothy has been played on NTS shows including Manila Times w/ Vex Ruffin & Possiblemusic, with ลำเซิ้งบั้งไฟ = Lam Seung Bang Fai first played on 4 April 2017.
Sothy was a one-off Laotian project from the early 1980s featuring Oulay Vanh and Sothipong Kong Sawath on vocals. They only released one single, the 1981 "Lam Seung!!!.. Chansons Laotiennes", recorded in Paris. This was re-released in 2017 featuring two additional remixes.
