The English group Fruit was a one-time side band for former Kitchens of Distinction leader Patrick Fitzgerald. He only released one album under the Fruit moniker before continuing on other projects.

The German band began in the late 1990s. Members are Bertil Mark (drums, percussion), Catenia Quentin (vocals), Frank Rill (guitar), Mark Rill (bass), Andreas Velte and Christian Walter (both keyboards, effects, noises). They released the album "Exposures Left" in 1999.

Fruit is an experimental/improvisatory musician from Sydney, Australia.

Fruit are a six-piece post-rock band based in the North-West of England (Manchester/Liverpool), formed in 2022.

Their sound is characterised through, swathes of dissonance, noise, and poetry, thus far culminating in the release of 3 singles, ‘Bleak’, The International’ and ‘Finn’s Song’.

Their reputation for an aggressive and hectic live sound , described in RGM as “angry, to mournful to delicate and back again” has led to gigs throughout the northwest, as well as Sheffield, Leicester and Brixton’s iconic Windmill venue.

The future promises a late 2024 release as well as a string of exciting live shows to be announced.
