The Mauskovic Dance Band has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 23 episodes and was first played on 21 March 2017.

The Amsterdam-based Mauskovic Dance Band combines elements of cumbia, Afro-Caribbean champeta rhythms and space disco in equal measure to create a hypnotic groove.

The group is the brainchild of producer and multi-instrumentalist Nicola Mauskovic. A seasoned drummer, he finds himself constantly in demand – as part of Turkish outfit Altin Gün, a recent tour with the revival of Zambian legends W.I.T.C.H., and a worldwide tour with psych-pop artist Jacco Gardner, with whom he then went on to form the dance-oriented duo…
