Twenty-two years after the LP release, this record continues to expand on us and remains one of the great enigmas of popular music made in Portugal. They are a meager 21 minutes of songs, a band that lasted five years or four musicians that no one knows the whereabouts. And an entire country (yeah, all) that whenever Linha Geral run on turntables, it sets a vacant stare is not known where the pant is not known why. It is said that the band was communist, even revolutionary, but the truth is that Linha Geral what you hear is not the usual Marxist pamphlet, the fiery and lyrical visionary vocalist Carlos Manso does not tolerate such things, and always singing "Secreta Caminhada", "A Hora Prometida", "O Gesto Decidido", "O Futuro Que Se Anuncia" or "A Ilusão Que Se Desvanece", the atlanc hearts by the seaside planted other things that reverberate not only the hope for a classless society. Tearing its way into the future but leaving him to name the band reaches a maximum effect - to fill in the blanks and make the bridge between the proletarian revolt of José Mário Branco and dreams of imperial glory of some Herois Do Mar (Band) This is the music that we can stand up to Catholic Advent, be it the Revolution, the Fifth Empire or the Second Coming, the record that will be playing at that time will be this one.
Carlos Manso – Vox, Guitars Fernando Soares – Drums Tiago Lopes – Guitars Pedro Alvim – Bass Guitar Nuno Rebelo – Piano, Synthesizer, Programming, Backing Vocals João Peste – Backing Vocals Production – Nuno Rebelo
