Paul Speer (born 1952 in Lewiston, Idaho) is a Grammy nominated guitarist, composer, and record producer. He has released several solo albums, music video albums, and collaborations with other artists such as pianist David Lanz, drummer Scott Rockenfield of Queensrÿche, Paul Lawler, and vocalist Satine Orient.

Starting with his first solo release in 1984 "Collection 983: Spectral Voyages," Paul has enjoyed a long and diverse career as both an artist and record producer. Since that time, he has produced more than 250 albums in a variety of genres and along with recording partner David Lanz, created three top selling albums for Narada/EMI Records. Paul's credits also include two collaborations with Queensryche drummer Scott Rockenfield:the Grammy nominated video album "Televoid" and the critically acclaimed progressive rock opus "Hells Canyon." As one of the founders of the former Miramar Productions, he helped guide the company to worldwide success featuring not only his own work but artists such as Jan Hammer, Thomas Dolby, Tangerine Dream, Santana, and Alan Parsons. Paul now lives and works in Memphis, TN.
