Def Squad has been played on NTS shows including Ted Draws, with Me And Those Dreamin' Eyes Of Mine (Def Squad Mix) first played on 16 April 2016.

Def Squad is a group that is the side project of three well-known solo artists on the rap scene: Keith Murray, Redman, and Erick Sermon (who is also a member of EPMD). They have only released one album so far, El Nino, and their most popular single from it was "Def Squad Delite," a remake of the classic late 70s song by The Sugarhill Gang. Subsequent singles included "Full Cooperation" and later "The Countdown."
