Ekin Fil has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 22 episodes and was first played on 16 December 2016.

Ekin Fil is the solo moniker of Ekin Üzeltüzenci from İstanbul. Her music is very personal and heartbreakingly delicate; whether rushing through some industrial noises cut by ambient breaks, or story telling with dreamy gazes.

She has played live at different venues in İstanbul, Berlin, Hamburg, Krefeld, Offenbach, Cologne, Valetta (Malta), Mainz, Warsaw, Wroclow and has opened for Malcolm Middleton, Grouper, Mountains etc. Opening for Grouper in Istanbul in 2009 connected Ekin Üzeltüzenci to Jefre-Cantu-Ledesma's label Root Strata and an evolving US West Coast / ambient-folk-drone scene.
