1) Stone Angel was a British folk rock/acid folk band that arose from the ashes the band Midwinter in 1974. All members from this new group knew each other from the Great Yarmouth Folk Club. An album called "Stone Angel" was released that same year. The year after this release the band disbanded. The remaining tree members formed the Village Band. The band reformed in the mid-nineties, after interest in their music had grown after the re-issue of their album on CD, and released a new album "East of the Sun" in 2001.
