Marconi Notaro Ferreira was a poet and musician born in Garanhuns, Pernambuco, Brazil in 1949. He had 7 books of poetry published and one lysergically infused LP released on the independent label Abrakadabra in 1973. The LP was recorded with his friends Lula Cortes and Lailson from the band Satwa along with Cortes' wife Katia Mesel and Ze Ramalho and is part song-based, part acoustic psychey improvisation. Marconi had no further music published and died in Recife in October of 2000. His one LP has subsequently been re-issued on the US label Time-Lag Records and there is one Marconi track on Normal Records' 'Love, Peace & Poetry' compilation volume 6.
