​Chris Carpenter is a rising figure recognized as a heavy hitting songwriter from San Diego, California. Recently exploding in to the spotlight by winning multiple songwriting competitions, his 2012 performances included, House of Blues, Humpherys, Hard Rock Cafe and The Thunderbird races at Bay Fair just to name a few appearances. Chris Carpenter became a finalist for the 2012 Hard Rock Cafe's Global Battle of the Bands in addition to a nomination for "Best Pop artist" of 2012 by the San Diego Music Awards. The CD "Up All Night" was nominated "Best Pop Album of 2013" by the San Diego Music Awards 2013
