Minimal Violence has been a regular guest, first appearing on 14 February 2017 and most recently on 13 December 2019. Minimal Violence has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 26 episodes and was first played on 12 October 2016.

Employing a haphazard collection of synths and drum machines, with initial takes often live off the floor to capture the raw energy, Ash Luk and Lida P (Minimal Violence) are entrenched in Vancouver’s thriving DIY scene and embrace upfront directness in their no-holds-barred ethos. Influenced by early industrial groups and cyberpunk literature, the record’s themes centre around the dystopian ‘InDreams inc.’ megacorp with rave-inspired, cult imagery designed by Kevin McCaughey (Boot Boyz).
