The Tapes has been played over 30 times on NTS, first on 31 October 2014. The Tapes's music has been featured on 33 episodes.

An Italian experimental electronic / industrial outfit consisting of brothers Giancarlo Drago (only permanent member) and Roberto Drago (the biggest supporter and collaborator over the years), active between 1982-1993.

The project released over 20 cassettes, mainly in DIY manner on own "Industrial Tapes" label, but in later years (1987-1993) moved to such legendary labels as "Minus Habens" / "Technological Feeling" / "RV" / "Amen - THX 1138" (also appears on many compilations by them).
