On 28 January 2018, Scrimshire was a guest on Is This Thing On? w/ Hector Plimmer. Scrimshire has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 25 episodes and was first played on 13 August 2013.

Its been a long journey for this young producer and mutli-instrumentalist, ever since his grandad introduced him to an Errol Garner record when he was 14. Scrimshires sound is steeped in jazz, soul and funk, but with a nod to contemporary sounds, and with strong popular song writing sensibilities.
