Max McFerren returns to 1080p again on cassette format, bypassing the completion of the MCFERRDOG trilogy that started with 2014’s “Club Amniotics”, and instead taking a divergent path inspired heavily by the storytelling of early techno pioneers and reflections on the comedic lifestyle.

Complete Walkthru is a break from the intuitive motivations guiding McFerren’s past work. Here we find a more self reflective mood within more familiar electronic territories. House shaded with breaks, deep and wonky techno excursions, bright melodic loops and super weird, uplifting vocals make up these two sides and nine tracks.

Focusing on preliminary investigations into the sounds specified by his reflections in storytelling and comedy, spirit is particularly audible in the effervescent touch Max brings.
