Corcovado

Corcovado has been played on NTS in shows including Roll Through…, featured first on 29 July 2016. Songs played include Gas Pedal (Edit).

Multiple Artists named Corcovado

Corcovado started as a lo-fi experimental indie duo in Grand Rapids, MI, releasing a self-titled album in 1999. In 2002, the band re-formed as a five-piece out of the development of basement jams. Their sound turned from the simple structures of demo-quality dream pop to a fuller, more complex indie shoegaze. The new interplay of Tina Louise (vocals, bells), Rebecca van der Leest (vocals, guitar), Matt Kurlinski (bass), Mike Newhouse (guitar), and Mike Christe (drums) conjured up the influences of Seely and Sonic Youth. Corcovado began to gig around Grand Rapids in the summer of 2002, and recorded in early of January 2003. The Arrows, Ghosts and Doors EP was released July of 2003. Source

Emo from Bethlehem PA, ex-members of Mulch, Broski, I Sing the Equator. Formed December 2009. Broke up when we all went to college. 3 of us play in Mallard now. Download everything for free on their Bandcamp Page
