Tongue N Cheek has been played on NTS in shows including Black Noi$e, featured first on 30 June 2016. Songs played include Don't Stop The Love, Nobody (Can Love Me) and Encore.

Tongue ‘n’ Cheek were a late ’80s and early ’90s electronic band that were primarily popular in the UK club scene between the years 1987 and 1991.

Only three of the group’s seven singles charted within the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, however they were highly popular on the UK Dance Chart. The group’s biggest hit in the UK was the single “Tomorrow”, which reached #20 in the UK pop charts. Follow-up singles “Nobody” (#37) and “Forget Me Nots” (#26) were big Top-40 hits as well. The group also had a charting album, This Is Tongue ‘N’ Cheek, which reached #45 in the UK Album Chart.

It is currently unknown when the group broke up, however it is known that they stopped releasing singles after 1991, so this is most likely the time around which they broke up.

The lyrical content from Tongue ‘n’ Cheek’s 1988 single Nobody (Can Love Me) was sampled by breakbeat hardcore/rave artist Acen. The lyrics - albeit sped up/altered, formed part of Acen’s darkcore single Trip II The Moon which reached #38 in the UK Singles Chart in August 1992.
