Epitaph

Epitaph

Epitaph has been played on NTS shows including Brown Acid Trippin' w/ Lance Barresi of Permanent Records, with London Town Girl first played on 14 May 2016.

There is more than one artist with this name: a progressive rock band, a post-metal band. 1) Epitaph is a German rock band, formed in Dortmund in 1969. Playing initially what Allmusic described as "post-psych progressive rock, spiced with occasional jazz accents and widespread twin-guitar harmonies,"[1] in 1973 they started shifting towards more straightforward hard rock (later heavy metal) stylings and, having released six studio albums, disbanded in 1982. In 2000 Epitaph reunited and several new releases followed. 2) Epitaph is a transatlantic post-metal band composed of Yasir Çatal (https://www.last.fm/music/Dog+in+the+Burning+House) and Burak Bostancıoğlu . Band takes inspiration from post-metal giants such as Russian Circles and Toundra but also fuses their music with more dissonant bands such as Ulcerate and Deathspell Omega. They released their first single 'It Takes a Lot of Valium to Not Hear the Cracks, Everywhere' and are working on their debut album.
