Asymptote has been played on NTS in shows including GRRL, featured first on 19 April 2016. Songs played include The Traveller, Flashback and Theory Of Knowledge.

David Flick and Matt Robison have been making electronic music together since 2005 as Asymptote: Crunching beats, sub dub basslines, and IDM aesthetics. Soothing, brittle textures overlap with white noise bursts, glitchy loop patterns and distorted breakbeats create an admixture of emotional moodiness and sample-heavy industrial chaos. Asymptote explores various sonic territories and creates a sound that pulls from a myriad of genres to create multi-layered music. Their debut Parapolitix is self-released and available thru CD Baby. In 2009 Asymptote released a Dubstep influenced EP with California's Noispsalm on U.K. label Dead-Channel. Also slated later in the year is a release on underground label Benthic Level. They have also been featured on Xynthetic's Progress Report and Future State of Rhythm 001 & 002.
