On 28 April 2017, Pussy Mothers was a guest on Uniqlo Tate Lates. Pussy Mothers has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 12 episodes and was first played on 15 April 2016.

Pussy Mothers is the Glasgow-based, cross-continental duo of Australian artist Hannan Jones and Scottish artist Murray Collier. Debuting last year with The Number 1 EP on Glasgow legends JG Wilkes and JD Twitch’s iconic Optimo Music label, Pussy Mothers create slow motion cosmic disco with loose-limbed percussion, hip-twisting grooves and female vocal athletics. The EP took shape in the city’s tenement flats over the course of a grim Scottish winter, before coming to life through extensive use of tape delay, space echo, and other vintage analogue effects at Green Door Studios, the Glasgow DIY creative hub that previously treated us to dance funk standouts Golden Teacher.
