Batuk has been played on NTS in shows including Chris P Cuts, featured first on 13 April 2016. Songs played include Call Me Naughty, Puta and Anda Ka .

Batuk is a pan-African creative collective. The trio consists of South African producers Spoek Mathambo, Aero Manyelo, and artist/ vocalist Manteiga. The group often collaborates with a South African artist, Nandi Ndlovu.

Their first EP consists of two original tracks, alongside remixes done by Daniel Haaksman (German Producer), Homeboyz Music (Angolan Afrohouse Duo), and Freddy Da Stupid (Mozambican DJ/ Producer). Batuk will soon be releasing their first full-length album that will see collaborations with Ugandan artists Giovanni Kiyingi, Annet Nandujja, and Nilotica – as well as Mozambicans Grupo Zore and Grupo Makarita.
