Skylab has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 11 episodes and was first played on 15 March 2016.

*Skylab was a downtempo supergroup composed of U.K. DJ Mat Ducasse, producer Howie "B" Bernstein (Howie B), Japanese recording artists Tosh and Kudo (Melon,Love T.K.O.,J.O.Y.,Major Force etc.) and vocalist Debbie Sanders.

Their first album, #1, is a forgotten classic. Nominally a trip hop or 'chillout' record, it's really far more ambitious. Beats and some low-key turntablism bookend excursions into lowercase soundscapes, vintage synth manipulation, ambient, impro and dub. Howie B's production bathes everything in a warm bass glow. Holds up brilliantly nearly 15 years later….
