"…Behind the “Freund der Familie” including house and yard, stand Klaus Rakete and Mirko Hunger who originally drew their inspiration from different genre preferences. Overpowered by the musicial chemistry of the togetherness the two decided, free following the slogan "two chairs one opinion", to divide their favour with each other. Since 2007 house and yard (label & project) are managed at the same address.

Independent from prefabricated sound drawers the duo studies both label and production way a different approach belonging the power of Deepness. The means for colouring the sound originate from a cosmos of felicitousness, spirituality, dawning light and melancholic positivism. The own polymorph preparations turn out with all kinds of deconstructions and fraying as gestures of contemplation with alternatively endless echo craters, substantial delay unloadings, swinging bass figures, melodic outlines, tradition-conscious creep rhythms and technoid low pressure.

Everything seems possible for the investigation of genuine heart music for body and soul. The listener/dancer dives into a perception of disembodied music made of ornamentations of the organic, led by an order of the things without borders."
