The Asphodells was a duo consisting of the late Andrew Weatherall and his studio cohort (and former Battant member) Timothy J Fairplay. The Asphodells' well-defined world was one of languorous dub-disco and trippy post-punk. In 2012 they released their debut album Ruled By Passion, Destroyed By Lust, which was followed a year later by Remixed featuring remixes of the same tracks by other artists.
