Monophobe has been played on NTS in shows including Chris P Cuts, featured first on 20 January 2016. Songs played include Tape Me and Analogic.

Solo Artist: Monophobe’s music is so unique, so exceptional, it leaves you falling into the dancefloor, making you surrender musically. Fragments of an incredibly broad range of musical influences as well as bits and pieces from everyday life all flow together in dynamic productions, constantly changing, evolving into something new the moment you think you finally have a grasp on what’s going on. The sheer production skills underneath are out of this world, with elaborate synth lines modulated in unthinkable ways and grooves so sophisticated it’s impossible to stand still and even harder to figure out move to them.

As a kid, Monophobe was surrounded by all kinds of music recordings to listen to at his parents’ place. In the following years and with various instrumental skills at his disposal, the search for deeper musical expression intensified. Band: Monophobe consists mainly of Angelo Cannavo and Erik K Veland, but has had a host of collaborators including most recently Caroline Ingeberg.
