Kuruki has been played on NTS in shows including Channeling w/ Ivan Smagghe & Nathan Gregory Wilkins, featured first on 20 October 2015. Songs played include Kleenex, Crocodile Tears and Souvenir Souvenir (Part 1).

synth pop of the early eighties. Kuruki was almost a solo project, by Ghent-based musician Gerry D'Haeyer. In fact, Kuruki is mainly a one hit wonder. The single "Crocodile tears" did well, successors (like the single "Just a cat" of 1983, which was recorded with Alan Gevaert & Chris Whitley of Noh Rodeo) could never repeat this success.

Gerry D'Haeyer later went on to play drums with bluesmusician Roland Van Campenhout.
