Bruza

Bruza hosted a guest show on 7 June 2019. Bruza has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 11 episodes and was first played on 6 September 2015.

Rapidly becoming one of East London’s most talked about MC’s Bruza has quickly barged his way into the UK’s underground A-list, which can be part attributed to his raw cockney rhyme style.

Learning his mic skills within the drum & bass and jungle scene as a member of Reckless Crew and on influential pirate Rinse FM, Bruza hooked up with Terror Danjah and Flash who’d just started new label, Aftershock.

The first tune Bruza did with Terror and Flash, “Bruzin” which also featured Triple, Footsie and Shizzle, got the group extensive airplay on Déjà Vu and other pirate stations.

The track introduced Bruza’s trademark delivery, marking him out as a true UK heavyweight.

Bruza says, “I had this big clash with Crazy Titch on Raw Mission FM for their Christmas show. Some think I won, some didn’t but it didn`t matter. Everyone was talking about it”.

After hundred’s of copies were circulated, the infamous clash ended up on Lord of the Mics, the underground’s equivalent of Pop Music’s Now 44.

Since then Bruza has been working overtime dropping big street singles like “Get Me” and “Ave Some Of Dat” both rotated heavily on Channel U, featuring on tracks with Big ED and D.O.K. and guesting on The Streets’ “Get Out My House”.

As a live act, he became one of the most in-demand UK players, regularly tearing it up at Sidewinder raves, the 2005 Urban Music Festival, and even overseas.

With a cool head strongly focused on his career and an un-compromising UK style, Bruza is determined 2006 will be his and on his terms.
