Blackest Ever Black doing what they do best – connecting the dots between early industrial, doom, drone and the contemporary dance scene, pounding out the dreary sound of 21st century malaise.

If you ever need some creative inspiration, take a look at some videos of Timbaland in the studio in his prime, around the early to mid-2000s. You'll see Timbo smiling knowingly as he plays new material to some of the biggest rap & R&B stars of all time, all of whom appear to display a similar range of emotions – confusion, astonishment, befuddled laughter. This is testament to the Virginia producer's utterly genre shifting approach to the rhythm and texture of beat-making. No one sounded like him before, and the many who have imitated rarely reach his level. This In Focus is selected by Antonine Scali.

Pecker

Pecker

Pecker has been played over 30 times on NTS, first on 17 February 2014. Pecker's music has been featured on 35 episodes.

1) A Japanese jazz percussionist, known for recording the collaborative reggae/dub album "21st Century Dub" with Sly & Robbie, Augustus Pablo, Rico Rodriguez et al.

2) Pecker is Raul Aquilué Usieto, a musician of Huesca who moved to Barcelona for love in 2003 and published a year after what was their debut album, "10 y 1 galaxia", an exciting pop songs surrounded by electronic vital that cooled the Spanish music scene predictable

In 2006, newly arrived from outer space, presented his second LP, "2 y las nadadoras," an album full of optimism in the nocturnal dipping and dancing, going without prejudice to funky, to electro to hip hop or more friendly

And finally arrived. Pecker has returned to fill spark new and exciting with a third album that has no title, simply "Pecker" and that is a blast of pop expressionism, a collection of songs with words everyday while dreaming, and with some amazing tunes.

The first single is taken from the album, "Supernova" is a dance game between electro synths, electrifying guitars and vocals, which escapes the boredom of everyday life to make way for the acid colors, is a reflection on the track of what important it is to take sides so that the life you smile.
