Roky Erickson (July 15, 1947 - May 31, 2019) was an American singer, songwriter, harmonica player and guitarist from Texas. Roky was a founding part of the 13th Floor Elevators, who are recognised to be one of the first two bands to ever use the word "psychedelic" to describe rock music.
