Trina & Tamara are a R&B/Soul duo who made their solo debut in 1999. They are the sisters of R&B/Soul singer Jesse Powell. Trina and Tamara's self titled debut album was released in late 1999. It yeiled the R&B hits "Why'd You Come Here For?" and "Joanne." They were former member of the R&B group, Somethin' For The People.
