NTS regular Bass Clef has been hosting Open Hand Real Flames since 24 January 2018. On 7 November 2014, Bass Clef was a guest on Solid Steel; on 2 November 2014 was a guest on Tropical Waste; and on 14 March 2014 was a guest on Bleep. Bass Clef has been played on NTS over 50 times, featured on 54 episodes and was first played on 17 May 2012.

He's from Bristol, he moved to Hackney… he makes bassy music. He's called Ralph Cumbers. His first album was a bit like dubstep but he has been exploring new modular territories since then.
