Tlaotlon

Tlaotlon has been played on NTS shows including Awkward Movements, with Ebrex first played on 27 September 2015.

"Psych-techno" project of New Zealander Jeremy Coubrough, drummer of Orchestra of Spheres and several other bands. Behind his moniker Tlaotlon, he creates a delicate hypnotic sound full of multiple layers, loopy psychedelia and glitchy, syncopated repetitive sound textures.

"Psychedelia might be described as the dissolution of the apparently real that reveals the many spaces beyond, which are liberating, disturbing and paradoxically human. Tlaotlon achieves this in one of the most visceral ways imaginable," wrote The Wire magazine describing his LP debut "Squirt Image Flex" released on Trensmat Records in 2012. Aquarius Records described his music "glorious, dizzying blast of abstract psychedelia, looped and rhythmic, rife with woozy low end synth buzz, swirling tangled melodies, a robotic rhythmic pulse, sounds swirling and beats stuttering." "These brain-frying cosmic freak-out’s suggest a myriad of possibilities for free-form space Techno and is a genuinely mind-blowing listen," claimed Norman Records.
