Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, Winter Flags is the side project of artist Gacha Bakradze. Having learnt to play guitar at ten years old, Gacha began the quest to realize his own innate fragile melodies and harmonies early on. A eureka moment happened several years later when he discovered the Boards of Canada’s classic ambient work, Geogaddi. This influenced Gacha into shaping his own sound and sonic environment. He added the MPC and classic Korg synths to his arsenal and patiently developed his own signature; as a result, his early productions quickly earned him respect in the music industry.
