Tim Blake has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 28 episodes and was first played on 28 September 2014.

Tim Blake has been keyboard player, vocalist, instrumentalist and composer with both Gong and the influential British space rock band Hawkwind. Blake is also well-known for his synthesizer and light performances as Crystal Machine, with the French light artist Patrice Warrener.

Blake makes regular returns to perform live with Hawkwind, appearing with them most recently in London in December, where he displayed his expertise with the theremin.
