He operates B-boim records, a cd-r label on which he releases music by himself and by others who perform music of a similar style. His minimalist sound has been varyingly described as modern classical, lowercase, eai and experimental jazz. He is also a member of the experimental music group Polwechsel, and he has worked with such individuals as Harry Miller, Klaus Filip, Taku Unami, Jurg Frey and Keith Rowe, among many others.
