Melbourne producer, Lewis Cancut, breaks away from the safety of genres. Lewis experiments with unique sounds, layering bass and instills a tropical nature within everything he does. He has released a constant stream of music, gaining the attention of big names such as Diplo, Branko, Daniel Haaksman, Astronomar, Bert On Beats, Crookers and more.

His high energy sound continues to ripen and develop, always bringing something fresh to the table. In edition to releasing solo and collaborative EP’s, Lewis has done remixes for artists like The Very Best, Alo Wala, Edu K, Gotye and Weird Together, to name a few. He also co-wrote the music of Jennifer Lopez latest single Booty, featuring Pitbull and Iggy Azealia along with label-mate, Swick.

In 2014, Lewis was amongst the 1% of successful applicants to take part in the Tokyo Red Bull Music Academy where he played a special showcase set in Shinjuku. He has a career-spanning goal to produce a track for Japan’s Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and with the direction he is going in, Lewis will get there in no time.
