The Orbits has been played on NTS shows including Carolina Soul, with Cat Squirrel first played on 10 December 2014.

There are at least five groups called The Orbits:

1 )The Orbits (also known as 'Orbits') were a punk-influenced power pop power trio from Milwaukee, WI. They existed from the mid 70s to the early 80s. It was made up of Breck Burns (guitar/vocals), Scott Krueger (bass/vocals), and Bob Wren (drums). They are prehaps best known for the 1981 single "Make the Rules". Krueger went on to play in the seminal power pop group The Shivvers.
