Louie Lasky was an American blues singer and guitarist.
Lasky accompanied in 1924 Anna Lee Chisholm ("Cool Kind Daddy Blues", Paramount 8076). Under his own name, he recorded five titles for the Vocalion label in Chicago in 1935, including "Caroline", "How You Want Your Rollin 'Done", and "Teasin' Brown Blues". He was also a sideman for Big Bill Broonzy ("C and A Blues"), Memphis Minnie and Washboard Sam. He combined flat picking with country and blues. His song "How You Want Your Rollin' Done" was included in the anthology "Times Ain’t Like They Used to Be" (1997) and on the cd The Songster Tradition 1927-1935, Document Records – DOCD-5045, along with Caroline and Teasin' Brown blues.
