MX-80 Sound were a post-punk band originally from Bloomington, Indiana (involved in the same scene that spawned the Gizmos).
Their sound was centered around Bruce Anderson's slashing, trebly guitar riffing and Rich Stim's deadpan, often indecipherable, mumble.
