Smyglyssna has been played on NTS in shows including Casting Shadows (On Warm Sundays) w/ Rikki Humphrey , featured first on 5 May 2015. Songs played include Rekonstruktion, Insvept I Papper and Our First Mistake.

Smyglyssna is the solo-project of Henrik Johansson from Malmö, Sweden, who was born on a small Swedish island in the Baltic. He started making music in his mid-teens and has been recording for the Californian label Plug Research since 1997. He has also recorded under his real name for the Japanese label Meme.

Smyglyssna was originally intended to be a project for lite ambient electronica but nowadays it can almost be any style. Smyglyssna is now more about a special approach to sound - experimental but not hard to digest.

The music explores clicks, glitches, pops and silence, using both ancient analogue equipment as well as modern digital synthesizers and samplers. His music has been anti-structured in the past, in order to give the actual sounds all the attention, but Smyglyssna always wants to keep things open to move in other musical directions; for now it might go towards more rhythmical structures.
