Sagat has been played on NTS in shows including Shamos , featured first on 5 April 2013. Songs played include Fuk Dat (Raw Mix), Why Is It? (Funk Dat) (Philly Smooth Hip-Hop Edit) and Why Is It? (Funk Dat).

Sagat was the most popular alias of Faustin Lenon, also known as Jump "Chico" Slamm and Blaksam. In 1993, Faustin Lenon wrote a song titled "Fuk Dat" and released it under the name "Sagat". It soon became an Underground Smash hit. After signing a record deal with Maxi Records, Sagat made a cleaner version of the song titled "Funk Dat" which was intended for radio stations. Soon after, "Funk Dat" began to climb the charts as it did the Clubs. By the end of 1993, Sagat participated in a video production for "Funk Dat" and MTV added the video into rotation.
