NTS regular hopper1000 has been hosting hopper1000 radio since 23 November 2024. hopper1000 has been played on NTS shows including ALBA Radio w/ Lorenzo Daniels & Bryce Byrd, with Zoom Bye Bye (Real Jungle) first played on 22 August 2023.

Zachary Waltman, otherwise known as hopper1000/hopper1000radio, is a DJ, Artist and Musician based in Fort Myers, Florida who primarily produces Jungle and DnB music, with his most popular works being from his Real Jungle series of albums, these mainly feature heavily remixed versions of existing songs (such as ‘Nookie’ by Limp Bizkit and ‘Beam Ahhh’ by DJ CHIPMAN), with large Jungle incorporations, these albums being released to Spotify, Bandcamp, Nina Protocol, and released in full via Youtube and SoundCloud, outside of music he is an artist, fisherman, filmmaker and fan of Florida/Miami Marlins.

He has collaborated with similar artists such as cade parker on ‘Slide Tonight’ and EVABOY (also known as Miya Lowe) on ‘CANDY PAINT’ from the album ‘BEEF’, and the single ‘never stop loving you’ . He is also a host on NTS Radio as hopper1000radio, and has performed at events in places such as The Lot Radio.

Outside of music, Zac has worked on and produced a number of different works, ranging from films to art, his artwork is present in albums such as ‘Mystic’, he hosts his artwork on his website, zacharywaltman.com/drawings.

Regarding filmmaking, he is present in the documentary “30 Artists In A Man$ion” by Documentary Forever, and has composed for a number of films, most notably “Hampow93: My Brother, Which I Care For”, which is a 2015 documentary regarding the amity of brothers Hamilton and Hudson Powell , and a documentary titled “Gothic King Cobra” in 2014, detailing the daily life of Josh Saunders, the title being the former name of the late KingCobraJFS, greater details on both of these are found on TV Tropes and IMDb.

The name ‘hopper’ most likely comes from the villager, Hopper from Animal Crossing, a cranky crested penguin with red eyes, since he is present in the covers of a number of Zac’s tracks, primarily on his older Soundcloud uploads (see, Chillin (demo), thumbnail being a still of him in ‘Dōbutsu no Mori’ and Nookie as some) , as well as in the Zoom Bye Bye Music Video (on the dismiss yourself YouTube channel), where Zac talks to him in Animal Crossing: Wild World.

He also is a fan of the Florida/Miami Marlins baseball team, as their logo and caps appear in just as many tracks, (see the cover of ‘hopper1000 DELUXE EDITION’ and ‘REAL JUNGLE 2’).
