Flawed Mangoes has been played on NTS shows including Supporter Radio: Dreams, with Birdsong first played on 1 January 2024.

Evan Lo, better known as Flawed Mangoes, is an independent artist who first started seeing moderate success in 2020 before rising to fame in 2023 with the release of "Killswitch Lullaby." It was within this song that Lo pioneered a gentle loop-based guitar sound that soon became synonymous with the "hopecore" genre of content on TikTok. Lo continued this sound into his debut album Killswitch Melodies (2023), and the following album The Unwavering Hand (2024). In 2025, he started experimenting with more of a shoegaze sound, which formed the basis of his two EPs Anomaly I & II. Flawed Mangoes is not Lo's first music project. He previously released post-rock music on Bandcamp under the name Somniferous.
